Minerals Handling and Processing Plant
Enviroplus specializes in the handling and processing of concentrates in the Chrome, Coal, Uranium and Platinum mining industries. Enviroplus is active in the layout, design and project management of wet concentrate offloading, sampling, storage and drying systems in the mining industry. Enviroplus was also involved in the optimization, redesign and implementation of the Yellow Cake thickening and drying plant, and is active in Namibia and Malawi. For specialized drying and calcining needs, Enviroplus has an association with Advanced Thermal Solutions LLC, USA.
Gas Handling and Treatment Plant
Enviroplus have designed and supplied numerous Gas Handling and Treatment systems. These include off gas plant in the Industrial, Mining and Power industries. Systems include, dust capture, wet scrubbing, ventilation and incineration plant. In terms of handling high sulphur gas streams Enviroplus has an association with Haldor Topsoe’s WSA (Wet gas Sulphuric Acid) technology, where coking plants, gasifiers, non-ferrous roasters and smelters which produce high sulphurous emission volumes can be converted into commercial quality sulphuric acid for sale or internal use. Enviroplus has recently acquired the company BAGhouse Engineering to further strengthen our offering in the dust collection market.
Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Plant
Enviroplus has performed numerous bankable studies on various renewable energy projects ranging from Landfill gas to biodigesters. We have an association with TEDOM, a Czech company supplying power generation and heat recovery packaged units to the Energy market.
HAZOP and Plant Risk Assessments
A HAZOP Analysis is a key methodology in ensuring regulatory compliance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act and the various Mining and Minerals acts. The experience of Enviroplus staff is called upon to perform plant hazard studies for various Engineering Houses. In this way, the assessments are provided as a group convened session using the latest standards. Our offerings range from HAZOP 1 facilitation through to HAZOP 6, including specific equipment modification Risk Assessments. We are also able to provide Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA) which quantifies the severity of a process risk or modification and assists management prioritise and justify risk abatement measures.
